Drawing from mainly recycled materials as an available source, Walter incorporates a variety of techniques in both the manipulation and construction of objects.  The work utilises drafting, sculpture, jewellery and silversmithing techniques, which all contribute to the realization of the initial concept reaching its full potential in the physical form.

A core component of Walter’s current works is the subtle movement created by a delicate balance of kinetics and stability, implying a sense of organic movement and life in objects which have none.
