So much work in this one with 58 forks but definitely worth the trouble, even including all the times I stabbed myself.

Still loving the ‘reddening’ technique on the copper, and the way this piece seems to come alive.

Drilling some old marbles I bought from an antique shop. I will need 45 for the sculpture I have in mind, each with a hole through the middle … and they feel a lot tougher than glass so there is a bit of work needed 🤪 Last year I re handled my parents 3 piece carving set that they were given as a wedding present in 1960 by my mums brother Don. Working on a new piece … this is the leg section which will be under a black glass shell. Fork prongs have already been soldered to each of the piano wires, this video is soldering all the piano wires to the brass rod base, making sure the silver solder has grabbed and everything is secure 😊 The finished piece, and process pics of ‘Lush Focus’ … I was very happy with this piece from 2024 as the components are all recycled materials … lawn bowl, piano wire and cutlery … and the balance and sound worked out beautifully 😊 Lots of pieces on the go getting ready for my solo show in Bowral later this year 😊 Love the fizz 🤪 reclaiming some scrap silver. #recycledsilver #jewellerymaker @bowralartgallery #jewelleryclasses @galleryontrackgoulburn Can’t seem to help myself, making chain is fun and therapeutic 🤪 #chainmail #frenchtwistchain #chainmaking #homemadelinks #jewellerytechniques #jewelleryclassesbowral #jewelleryclassesgoulburn #creativemetal #sterlingsilverchain Blast from the past … oil painting I did in 2005 90cm by 120cm. Saw this again recently while packing up my parents house 😊 still love this work. Set some of my students some sawing practice to do in the term break, so thought I should do it as well, the last time I did this was early 90’s 😬. #jewellerypractice #jewellerssaw #australianpennyjewellery
